I have a Dell latitude d620 laptop which the hard drive is failing and I purchased a Seagate 750 SATA hard drive. I want to replace the existing drive with new one. I have tried to use Ghost 15 to Copy Hard Drive.
I have tried to repair bad sectors of existing hard drive using windows tools. and have selected to ignore bad sectors when copying the drive.
It shows that it fails at 99% and I get the following error:
Error EC8F17B3: Cannot complete copying of (C:\) drive.
Error EC8F0409: Cannot copy source drive to destination location.
Warning AC8F1FCC: The type of errors encountered indicate that this hard disk drive is about to fail. It is recommended that this drive be replaced soon. To ignore this error and backup this drive, select "Ignore bad sectors during copy" from the advanced options in the Drive Backup Wizard.
