Norton Utilities 15 came with NIS 2013 and so I just installed it and let it run through it's cleanup. However, at least 2 issues have come out of it. The first one is that none of my websites recognize me or my status anymore and so I found where I can disable it cleaning up after my browser. Why would this be a default behavior? Isn't it supposed to make life easier/better for us?
The other issue is that Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008 has stopped working and required a reinstallation. Of course next time NU15 runs it will probably do the same thing. My best guess is NU is removing crucial registry entries that effect the application. How can this be prevented?
I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 if it helps.
I'm a little disppointed to say the least that an application that is supposed to make your system run better would do these things.
