Is it possible to image hard disc where .gho size is more than that..

Hi All,

If i created .gho image using norton ghost and size of the hard disc from which image created  is less than the hard disc which need to be formated.Is it possible to format the hard disc with the .gho image created from the hard disc whose size is smaller compared to it..please suggest me on this..
