My computer recently got attacked by some kind of trojan. When I tried to get more information, Norton, Very helpfully, suggested that I use Norton Power Erase to remove it. Come to find out, this was the exact WRONG thing to do, I was informed by both Norton tech support, who had no idea how that happened, or even what Norton Power Erase was, and also several members of this forum! Of course, all of this falls under the file of "time machine", as I only found this out AFTER the damage was done! So, allow me to warn you before you use it! Norton Power Erase will mess your system up, and should not even be on there! Norton staff don't even know what it is!
