I installed NU16 about two months ago and it had been working great until a few weeks ago. I noticed that scans were taking longer and longer to complete, and this past weekend they would just "hang" and not complete at all. Task Manager indicated that the process was still running, but literally no progress was made on a system scan that ran all night long. My only choice has been to stop the scan.
It seems especially important that I be able to use NU now as we've been seeing the following error a lot lately:
There was a problem starting C:\Users\[Insert My Username Here]\Appdata\Local\Temp\svmvhij\sosqwuu\wow.dll The specified module could not be found.
I have run system check ( sfc /scannow ), and I also ran the Norton Power Eraser, neither one of which reported any problems.
I'm using a Toshiba laptop running Win7 64-bit with 4GB RAM.
