When I try to set up Offsite Copy for my backup i am supposed to enter a valid ftp address, username and password. There seems to be a problem with username. What I type is: myusername@myftpserver.com. Norton Ghost changes it to: myftpserver.com\myusername. And that is of course not accepted by my ftp server. The same problem was posted in 2011 here:
but there was no satysfying solution.
Question: how to make Norton Ghost accept a proper username: my username@myftpserver.com. I do not want Norton Ghost to change what I type, because otherwise I cannot open ftp connection and offsite copy does not work.
My ftp server works fine, I log in using various clients, I can upload/download files of considerable size (1GB and more) without any problems.
