Updated Norton DNS to the new IP's:
199.85.126.30
199.85.127.30
Tested connecting to an Adult site and it went through OK, not blocked.
Changed back to the old IP's:
198.153.192.60
198.153.194.60
And it was blocked.
Also tried with various other sites too and they were all allowed through.
Have flushed DNS cache, cleared browser cache's etc and no difference
Using Norton Utilities 16.0.1.7, engine 5.0.0.5. Suddenly for about a week the dashboard is frozen at "0" and won't change no matter which steps I complete to improve health. Also the list of steps to improve health does not change after performing a listed step. Please help
I tried to install norton antivirus suite, but received an error (boot.cidox) which directed me to use Norton Power Eraser. After trying to use power eraser, Windows will not boot in any mode.
Please, help, I need this computer back up asap..
I've seen it fixed for another user... back in 2012.

2. Why Norton DNS Changed New IP 199.85.126.10& 199.85.127.10? I am so Confused about New IP.

I've recently decided to give Norton DNS a try, but am worried I'm going to run into the same problem I did with Open DNS until I figured that out. WIth the Linksys e1200 there are 3 spots on the router config page to put DNS IP addresses and if you don't fill in all 3 then the last slot will use one of my ISP's DNS servers. So with Open DNS I used their IP's in the first two spots like it said and left the third blank (0.0.0.0). Come to find out my ISP (Comcast) filled in the third spot with one of its DNS server IP's and it would always revert to it instead of using the Open DNS IP's even though the Open DNS IP's were placed before it. So to counter this I found a third Open DNS IP address so all 3 spots would be filled with just Open DNS IP's and everything worked fine. Upon looking at the Norton DNS IP's there are only two (199.85.126.10/199.85.127.10) for least restrictive which is what I want to use. Should I just use an IP from the more restrictive option of Norton DNS to fill the third spot? How exactly would I test that I am in fact using Norton DNS IP's since the test page stil isn't working correctly? Hopefully I spelled this out in the least confusing way possible lol. Thanks!

I've just purchased Norton 360 and Norton Anti Theft [both for 3 devices]. No problem with 360; I've successfully downloaded that to my Windows Desktop and Laptop PCs and have one licence remaining. I have managed to downloaded Anti Theft to my Laptop and Smart phone, but every time I try to download it to a third device [my Apple i-pad] by accessing the Norton Mobile Security App, I receive an error message "No License". I can't understand why this should happen, as I should be able to download it to three devices and I haven't put it on my Desktop PC, so there should be one remaining licence.
Please can someone help?
Is it safe to delet pgbleach files as I have over 1000, thats a lot of space being used or waisted?

I have ran NBRT on my Vista PC however it did not find any threats However my PC is still held to ransom. I am unable to run the second stage Norton Power Eraser as it is greyed out stating no internet access. Is it possible to separately download and create a bootable CD version of NPE?
