I have Norton SystemWorks 2006 on Win XP. It is broken. I attemped an uninstall so i could reinstall and I get "the unistallation encountered an error and was unable to remove the application." HOW DO I GET A CLEAN UNINSTALL?. I need to run SPEED DISK which hangs and will not run.

What I did:
I accidently hid the default boot partition of my hard drive with PartitionMagic.
Message during boot:
"Current operation (1 of 1)
Hiding partition: C: (NTFS, Primary volume, 238464.8 MB on disk: 2)
Entire Progress: 99%
Error 4. Bad argument/parameter
Entire progress 100%
Errror 4 while executing batch.
Error 4. Bad argument/parameter
Will now reboot.
Press any key to continue"
Result:
System can't boot hard drive and looks for floppy.
What I did next:
I boot a DOS6.22 floppy and run FDISK. It says:
"Warning! No partitions are set active - disk 1 is not startable unless a partition is set active"
Flashing: "Unable to access drive 2."
So I set disk 1 partition 1 to Active.
Result:
Now the bootup fails after the Windows XP banner with:
"XMNT2002 Program not found -- Skipping autocheck"
"Autocheck program not found -- skipping autocheck".
That's probably normal if the partition is still hidden and those programs are in that hidden partition!
What I do next:
I boot the PartitionMagic rescue disks. PartitionMagic runs and finds some errors in partion lengths. I OK the error fixes and unhide the boot partition and set it Active again. Then I reboot -- but the text from the batch file looks just like the original, setting the partition to hidden again! Did the previous "Error 4" errors cause the original batch to be saved and run again each time I boot?
Result:
System can't boot hard drive and looks for floppy.
So I again boot DOS6.22 and set the partition Active.
Result:
The bootup always fails after the Windows XP banner with:
"XMNT2002 Program not found -- Skipping autocheck"
"Autocheck program not found -- skipping autocheck"
and then automatically reboots.
Question:
How am I going to make this computer boot again?

When I got to activate the Utility program the "Activate Now" button is grayed out, even when information is completed on the form, I can either Purchase a key or cancel.

I am currently running Norton thru my ISP century link and have purchased antitheft seperatly It has been one night mare after another when I bought a new laptop with win 8.1 first ill stick to the anti theft location issue it works well with my celphones because It uses gps but the computers keep tracking about 5 miles away assuming this is the telco CO I have registerd ma wifi and computers with skyhook and it worked for a couple of weeks I was told to activate gps in my computers called manafactues they said there is no gps chips in them so what dose one do?
I download the Norton Bootable Recover tool after seeing the montly ad from NAV. After I downloaded it and prepaired to put in on DVD or Flash dirve it said only for 32 bit. Is there a special place to download it for 64 bit Win7 PS?

In 2011, I bought Norton Utilities for using with 3 computers. I've just bought a second computer, but can't find a way to download Utilities from my Norton Account.
Unlike my Norton Internet Security, it isn't shown in "My Products" but it is listed in my order history.
Any advice would be very welcome.

I have a Dell desktop operating with Power Quest Partition Magic 6.0 with two (2) partitions. I have two(2) bottable disks and one rescue (1) disk that I have tried to use. To date I have not been successfull. I have encountered at least four (4) different error codes during my trials to get this to work. The bootable disks issued error message #88 unable to find correct drive and #8 could not run Partition Magic. The rescue disk error message was#8108. None of the error message can be found in the product manual that came with the software.
I have been able to boot the PC with a bootable disk for Win 98. It creates a RAMdrive C:\ only with CD rom support. Any help or hope for my situation????
